99¢ Only Stores for Produce?

Would you have thought? Well I went there today searching for a few things for my daughters birthday party. After getting some things I had planned to get and some things I had not, I decided to see what they had in their freezer section for me to get for lunch seeing as my lunch was over and I needed to head back to the office. I entered the food section and was surprised to find produce, not just a few things for 99.999999 cents (now) but 1 lb of organic spring mix for $1, 6oz raspberries, 6oz black berries, a dozen Anaheim peppers, 3 bell peppers, bag of carrots, huge bag of garlic, 4 tomatoes and so much more. I was in shock and disappointment. The disappointment came when I realized I had to head back to work and I couldn't carry all this produce back into the office and it would for sure go bad in my car, sitting in the sun for 3 hours till it was time to go home. I think I'll be heading back this weekend to get some more produce for home. The salad will remain at work for my lunches next week. Like always, know your prices before you go. I am sure something's aren't the best buys.
