On Tuesday, June 23, doughnut lovers in Southern Arizona will rejoice with the return of Krispy Kreme and the Original Glazed® doughnut! With a new neighborhood store opening in Marana at 8260 N. Cortaro Rd. Suite 112 –just off I-10 and the Cortaro Rd. (Exit 246 ) – franchise partner Dan Brinton will have opened seven Arizona stores in 13 months.The opening day celebration at Krispy Kreme will be filled with fun activities and prizes, including the chance for consumers to help officially open the store for business. The first two dozen customers in line who are also friends of Doughnut Dan on facebook will have the chance to dig through a vat of sprinkles in search of the one key that will open the store. The person whose key opens the door will win a one-year supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and all key recipients will receive a one-month supply of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a Doughnut Dan T-shirt.In addition, the first 100 lobby customers who are friends of Doughnut Dan on facebook will each receive a free breakfast for a year card redeemable for a doughnut and 12-oz coffee each day for one year.
